1 Kings 19: 1-12

You can stand beneath winds that tear apart mountains, feel the earth shake beneath your feet, and watch the fire consume everything around you—but without God’s voice, it’s all just empty noise.

Elijah stood on Mount Horeb, surrounded by the chaos of wind, earthquake, and fire—but the Lord’s voice was not in any of those. And too often, we chase the big moments, the dramatic signs, assuming that is where God speaks. But regardless of how things appear, it is the quiet place where God’s voice truly speaks.
