Eternal Weight of Glory

2 Corinthians 4: 16 -18

When we, as God's children, suffer for the sake of Christ, our suffering is never in vain. In essence, it is producing for us a far exceeding and eternal weight of glory. When we go through various trials and afflictions in our lives, we have this assurance that the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon us. God never leaves us nor forsakes us in our tribulations, but He sustains us through it all by the power of His great love. If indeed we suffer with Christ, we will also be glorified together with Him, knowing that when we see Him face to face, we shall be like Him in the very image of His glory.
